This website is composed of three main sections.
The first section, "Preparatory work ", contains
some multimedia materials and activities that are designed to help you familiarise
yourself with the issue of disability rights. You will have the opportunity
to listen to an interview with Miriam Whitfield of Social Vocational Services,
Inc. and to do some comprehension activities based on the interview. You
can also watch a video about the employment of people with disabilities by NISH
Postal Services.
The second section, "Getting ready for the
case study ", contains materials and activities about the specific
problems of people with disabilities who want to travel by airplane. They can be
used as warm-up activities to get to know the specific case under study.
The third section, " Prompts for the case study ",
concerns the Ryanair case. The procedures, the roles, and
the materials needed to achieve the case-study objectives and to carry out
the activites are specified.
